Noremac's Jewelcrafting Policy
Jewelery Requests
I, Noremac Drawkcab,
pledge to craft jewelry for anybody who follows the policy, on the first
Saturday of each month. The item must be for you or one of your twinks to
wear. No crafted jewelry is to leave the guild. If it does, you will be
held responsible for it. I am not going out of my way doing all the work
and spending all my money to further my skill so that you can hawk my goods
at a profit! Once you no longer need the item, you will sell it back to
a vendor for cash or donate it to another member of the guild.
I) In order for
me to complete your order, I must have a full week's notice.
I) I am no druid or wizzy. You need to come to me to get your items,
or give me the stuff I need to create the jewelry for you. If as few
as three people need items in a particular month, and they are in Dalnir's,
Great Divide, and Qeynos, well….you get the picture.
II) I will make items for you on the spot, on any day, provided you bring
everything to me! That's right, if I'm fighting Spirocs on the 15th
of November, and you bring me everything I need in the Timorous Deep,
I'll whip out a shiny new ring for you! Now if you want 5 plat items,
you may have to wait until I can work them in. Enchanting metal is very
mana intensive.
III) If I have a large number of items for you or the guild where people
have not asked me to craft right in front of them, I may not be able
to have everything delivered on that Saturday, but will soon after.
This is due to inventory space.
IV) There may be times when an important raid is coming up that I will
do jewelry outside of that first Saturday of the month. For example,
we may be doing a dragon raid and resist gear will be necessary. If
enough people need it before we go, then I shall do what I can for the
good of the guild.
V) The item you order must be deemed better, or equal to what you are
currently wearing. Resist gear should pretty much be no questions asked…but
a plat item should be an upgrade to what you are wearing, or emphasize
a different stat than you currently have. Be aware that I reserve the
right to inspect you on a raid for any diamond or blue diamond resist
gear that I have made for you. I have to keep an especially close eye
on these items, and under no circumstances is any diamond or blue diamond
resist gear made by me to leave the guild. I am not selling any diamond
or blue diamond resist gear to you at disconunted prices; these items
are leased through the guild. If you want to keep them if you leave
the guild you must pay me full market value minus the market value of
the gem, or else give it back to the guild. The idea here is to protect
myself from anybody thinking of using me to make a profit for them.
VI) For every order, I need the money ahead of time. Keep in mind that
I may not play the same hours as you! If I have 400 plat on me, and
people order 800 plat worth of stuff, I can't very well do that ahead
of time now can I? =)
VII) I would encourage you to let me buy the components, unless you want
the item right away (see #5 above for making right away policy). I have
high charisma and can get items for a discount. Keep in mind though,
that if I fail, I may need more cash before I can try again.
VIII) Some jewels cannot be purchased. For those items, you must give them
to me ahead of time. I'm not going to the tunnel in EC to try to buy
a blue diamond for you at a reasonable cost =P
IX) If you leave the guild within one (1) month of me delivering jewelry
to you, it will be considered guild property, and you will hand it back
over to me. If not, you are in violation of a written, posted policy.
Please do not take advantage of me or our great guild.
X) So, how do you order an item? NOT IN GAME!!! Email me at Noremac_Drawkcab@hotmail.com
using the subject line Jewel. (Note that there is an underscore between
Noremac and Drawkcab, which is usually done by holding the shift and
dash buttons together). This will ensure that I have a written record
of your request, and will fulfill it. If we play at different times,
we can coordinate something through email so I can get any cash needed,
or you can pick up the items at some point.
